Secrets (Arthur B. Rubinstein)

The incidents faced by the characters on the new soap opera "Manhattan" pale in comparison to those of the actors playing them. I've never read a Danielle Steel novel in my life, but given this made-for-TV drama adapted from one of her books, maybe there's a reason for her success. Cliched as all get-out, but undeniably compelling. Plus, Christopher Plummer can sell pretty much anything.

Arthur B. Rubinstein's score features some neat passages for the many dramatic scenes as well as a bustling main theme for the show-within-a-show.
