“En garde...bitch!”
Good news: well, it may not be Mouse Hunt or The Quick and the Dead, but Death Becomes Her just received a Deluxe Edition from Varese Sarabande. The 34-minute album plays pretty well on its own, but still, this is a very, very pleasant surprise.
Bad news: this Deluxe Edition was released exclusively on vinyl, because who the Christing fuck would want this music on a compact disc?
Also, there’s a Club release planned for this weekend. That’s release. Singular. Less than two. That day, the label is also putting out a piece of merchandise. One supposes that this is being done so the label could make more money. You know what would be a stone gas for everyone from the long-time record label? The money that you used to produce this piece of merch could’ve been put toward another release to make you money. You know, Robert Townson would’ve eaten a bullet before allowing any of this shit to happen under his watch.
Labels: can you believe this shit?, film music, rant
