Idle hands.

Yeah, I know I haven’t been posting in a while, but let me tell you: I’ve got a pretty damn good excuse this time.

For the last month and a half, my hands been stricken with some kind of numbness. Imagine a giant vice crushing your hands every minute of every day. If that were the main problem that would be bad enough, but I have just gotten so clumsy. My hands are unable to grasp onto things. Writing and typing are significantly harder...and given that those are the main aspects of my job, it’s literally like a nightmare. I’m really not sure whether it’s an act of Covid or whether I finally been struck by diabetes (numbness to the hands is one of the symptoms, after all).

A few weeks ago, I went to a neurologist and his office is trying to work on getting me an MRI. Unfortunately, my insurance won’t cover it, for some reason. I also had blood work done to see if my blood was diabetic. I haven’t heard anything in the three weeks since. Now, I don’t have letters after my name or anything, but I figured it would take less time than that to get blood analyzed.

At this point, I would honestly do anything to get my hands back to normal. Any. Thing.
