Mr. Cellophane

There's a scene in The Howling where Kevin McCarthy's Fred Francis readies for the newscast while wearing a jacket draped over him, the same look that McCarthy's Scrimshaw sported in Innerspace while lecturing Jack on the potential of miniaturization in the ice truck.

Hey, it's a much less weird intra-movie director connection than Tony Scott's 'intimidating' teeth bite. Seriously, what the fudge?

I'd thought about pitching a potential '24 Reasons' video showing the similarities between 4D Man and Hollow Man, but I'd only gotten as far as Columbia productions, affected scientist killing his boss and former girlfriend delivering the final blow. Oh, well.

And this reminds me of the actual pitch I need to do about Superman and Hercules, just in time for Brightburn.

Moving (Howard Shore)

Mass transit engineer Arlo Pear (Richard Pryor) manages to find a new job, but unfortunately, it involves having to relocate from New Jersey to Idaho. Despite a weak script and Pryor's miscasting, this comedy still manages to make for a good lazy weekend watch.

Following a career of horror movies (with the occasional drama), Howard Shore was asked to score this movie and while the primarily electronic effort is far from his best work, it's still quite fascinating, buoyed by a catchy main theme.

Now, I love crab rangoon. I love pizza. An episode of "Food Paradise" mentioned a restaurant in Iowa that serves Crab Rangoon Pizza. Iowa is super-far away and, as I've mentioned before, I'm a cheap-ass, so I can't just hop a flight to Iowa just for a pizza.

Thankfully, I seem to not be the only person who's seen that "Food Paradise" and can't afford to go to Iowa, as there are a number of recipes online for Crab Rangoon Pizza.

A little work-intensive, but I think it might be worth it:

Tickets to Iowa are how much?
